Three Portable Seawater Desalination Machines Shipped to France

Three Portable Seawater Desalination Machines Shipped to France
WTEYA has completed the export of three portable seawater desalination machines to France. The units were assembled, tested and packed at our factory, then dispatched to a coastal customer who will use them to turn seawater into fresh water directly on site.
The three machines were built as a single batch, so the customer receives an identical configuration, matching spare parts and one consolidated set of technical documentation.
Order Background: Fresh Water for a Coastal Site
The order was placed by a European customer serving coastal users who need a dependable supply of drinking water away from municipal networks. Portable units suit that requirement because they can be moved, installed and started up without a fixed plant building.
The three machines will be deployed where seawater is the only reliable source, a situation common along the Atlantic and Mediterranean coasts.

4021 Portable Seawater Desalination Specifications
Each machine is built on the 4021 platform, a compact portable desalination design. A single unit produces about 4,021 gallons (roughly 15 cubic metres) of fresh water per day, enough for a small community, a work camp or a group of vessels.
Performance targets are verified before dispatch: salt rejection of 99.5% and product water TDS below 200 ppm, which keeps the output within drinking-water range. Energy consumption runs at 3 to 4 kWh per cubic metre, supported by a high-pressure pump and an energy-recovery layout.
The 4021 frame is built for mobility. Each machine ships as a self-contained skid that includes pre-treatment, the reverse osmosis membrane train, instrumentation and a control panel.

Pre-Shipment Testing and Quality Control
Before the container was sealed, every one of the three machines passed a full functional run. The high-pressure pump, membrane circuit, valves and electrical panel were checked one by one, and each unit received its own test record.
Pressure and leak tests were carried out on the complete hydraulic circuit, and water quality was sampled at the product outlet to confirm the TDS target. Photographs and video of the tested units were shared with the customer before departure.
Export Packaging and Loading
All three machines were wrapped and braced inside seaworthy packaging. Membrane elements and cartridge filters were protected against movement and moisture for the sea voyage, and accessories were labelled to match the packing list issued with the order.
Loading was supervised by our own team, with each skid fixed inside the container and weight distribution checked before the doors closed.
Delivery Process and On-Site Support
After shipment the process is straightforward: documents travel with the goods, the customer handles import clearance, and installation is completed on site. WTEYA supports start-up remotely with commissioning instructions, operation and maintenance manuals, a spare-parts list and direct access to our engineering team.
Because the machines were built and tested as one batch, commissioning on site is faster and requires no reconfiguration between units.
