Mid-Autumn Gifts at WTEYA: Fruit Boxes for HQ, Mooncakes for Plants and Sites

Mid-Autumn is China's festival of reunion — and at WTEYA this year it reached every workplace in the group. Gifts were arranged in two tracks: seasonal fruit boxes for the group headquarters, and mooncakes for the Jingshan smart manufacturing plant and colleagues at branch sites nationwide.

Fruit Boxes for the Headquarters Team

Headquarters colleagues received boxes of pomelo, pear and persimmon — three fruits that are at their best in the weeks around the festival. Pomelo is the traditional centrepiece of a Cantonese Mid-Autumn table and carries the meaning of reunion; pear is considered cooling and suits the dry autumn air; persimmon is chosen for the pun on "everything as you wish".

The administration team packed and distributed the boxes by department in the week before the holiday, so staff could take them home ahead of the festival and share them with family.

Mooncakes for the Plant and Branch Sites

The Jingshan smart manufacturing base in Hubei is WTEYA's core production facility, and production colleagues remained on shift over the holiday. The plant arranged mooncakes for the whole workforce so that everyone on duty would share in the occasion.

Branch-site colleagues across the country received their own mooncakes at the same time. From Guangdong to Hubei and on to project sites and service points, the same gift arrived on the same day — one festival, one gesture, every office included.

What the Gift Reflects

WTEYA has spent close to two decades building evaporative and membrane-based wastewater treatment systems, growing from a single workshop into a company with the Jingshan manufacturing base, a nationwide service network and more than 2,000 clients. That growth rests on the daily work of shop-floor and site teams.

The gift itself is not costly. What counts is that headquarters, plant and branch sites were all covered — a simple statement about how the company treats its people.

Holiday Duty and Service Continuity

Duty rosters have been set at every WTEYA site for the Mid-Autumn period. Project teams are staffed according to client requirements and service hotlines remain open throughout, so that client schedules are not affected by the holiday.
